Rockstar Energy/H&H Race Team at Anaheim 1
The team was excited about their pit presence as the party was rocking all night long and really what else would you expect from the team owned by freestyle pioneer and celebrity Carey Hart? The DJ's were in full effect, the Rockstar energy drinks were flowing and the scene around the truck was one of celebration. There was no doubt that the Rockstar Energy/ Hart and Huntington pit was the truck to see! "Our riders struggled a bit, no doubt about that, but I know it was just bad luck, that's racing sometimes. We'll pack it up, write it off to first race jitters and get back at it in Phoenix" said team manager Kenny Watson about his riders "I know we can do better and we will this weekend" The team could not have been at Anaheim without the support of all its sponsors and they would like to thank them for all the support in the 2009 season: Rockstar Energy, Hart and Huntington, Honda, Carter Powersports, Kal-Gard, Leo Vince, ID Systems, Independent Suspension, Pac-sun, Smith, ONE Industries, MAC Tools, Tag Metals, QTM, Cycra, SDG, K&N Filters, Hart's Wasted Space, DVS, Skull Candy, VP Fuels, All Sport Dynamics, Alpinestars, Vortex, Dunlop, Works Connection |

Anaheim, California - January 3, 2009 - At the opening round of the Monster Energy Supercross series, the Rockstar Energy/ Hart and Huntington Honda SX team experienced what the famous phrase "The agony of defeat" was all about. The opening Supercross always produces surprises and in front of 42,309 fans, that's exactly what happened when team riders Troy Adams and Josh Hansen both had some troubles and failed to qualify for the main event. Adams was the victim of bad starts and a first turn crash in the LCQ, Hansen bad starts and a case of opening night arm pump conspired to do him in.
